Flibanserin Introduction

Flibanserin is a serotonergic antidepressant used to amusement hypoactive animal admiration disorder. Flibanserin has been associated with a low amount of accessory serum aminotransferase elevations during treatment, but has not been affiliated to instances of clinically credible astute alarmist injury.

The apparatus by which flibanserin ability could cause serum aminotransferase elevations or alarmist abrasion is not known. Flibanserin is metabolized by the alarmist via the cytochrome P450 arrangement (predominantly CYP 3A4 and 2C19) and is affected to drug-drug interactions with agents that abet or arrest these enzymes. Combination of flibanserin with added serotonergic agents may accelerate the serotonin affection apparent by fever, tachycardia, hypertension and agitation and can be accompanied by balmy serum aminotransferase elevations.
